Video: 2012 Mass. Teacher of Year speaks to COE students

Adam Gray (BSEd ’06), the 2012 Massachusetts Teacher of the Year who earned his bachelor’s in mathematics education from UGA, spoke on many issues relevant to those in a variety of disciplines and across the K-12 grade bands during this special colloquium on November 5 at Aderhold Hall.
During his talk Gray shared anecdotes and strategies that he used to overcome some of the challenges he and his fellow teachers faced daily while working at one of the lowest performing schools in his state. He also shared what he has learned from the unique opportunities afforded him as teacher of the year.
