AJC: Lembeck increases scores, attention to Marietta schools

Emily Lembeck (EdD ’95), of Marietta, who received the College of Education’s 2011 Professional Achievement Award, was featured in an October 5 Atlanta Journal Constitution story.
Lembeck was named Georgia Superintendent of the Year last after having been a finalist for the past three years. She has served in the UGA College of Education’s Education Policy Advisory Group since 2007 and participated in the Fulbright German-American Superintendent Seminar in 2004.
