Clarke Schools tout partnership with UGA on billboards

Published in Dean's Office, In the News

The Clarke County School District is promoting itself with a billboard campaign, reported an October 2 story in the Athens Banner-Herald.

The campaign started Sept. 25, when billboards went up on four Fairway Outdoor Advertising billboards in Athens — Broad and North Pope streets, U.S. Highway 441 at Boley Drive, South Milledge Avenue at Moose Club Drive and Oak Street at Inglewood Avenue.

Proclaiming “STRONGER PUBLIC SCHOOLS=STRONGER COMMUNITY,” the billboards list some of the innovative programs the Clarke County School District has embarked upon recently, including the partnership the school district has developed with the University of Georgia College of Education.
