“Confidence plays a key role in whether children as adolescents or adults choose activities that are active and healthy promoting or more sedentary,” said Phillip Tomporowski, a UGA professor of kinesiology, in a July 16 ABC News report on a new study linking the amount of TV watched with increased waist size and decreased leg strength in children.
