Felt

Andy Felt (BSEd ’97), a science teacher at Madison County High School, was one of 10 finalists for the 2013 Georgia State of the Year. Felt who earned a bachelor’s degree in science education at UGA teaches chemistry and physical science at MCHS.

Lauren Eckman, an English Language Arts teacher from the Georgia Academy for the Blind,  one of three State Schools, was named the 2013 Georgia Teacher of the Year at the annual Georgia Teacher of the Year banquet held June 1 at the Georgia International Convention Center.
