Mitchell

Brandon Mitchell (EdS ’09, MEd ’07,  BSEd ’04), a 29-year-old science teacher known for creatively engaging his students in the subjects of environmental and physical science by demonstrating attention-getting applications both inside and outside the classroom, has been named the 2012 Barrow County Teacher of the Year, reports the Barrow Journal.

Mitchell earned his bachelor’s, master’s and educational specialist degrees from UGA.
