Arthur “Andy” Horne has announced that he’ll step down as dean of the University of Georgia’s College of Education at the end of this year. When he leaves in December, the 70-year-old Horne will have spent five years in a job he really didn’t pursue, reports a front page story in the April 29 issue of the Athens Banner-Herald. The story was also reported in many papers around the state by The Associated Press. The story was also reported May 1 in the Red & Black.
