A climate and weather psychologist at the University of Georgia, Alan Stewart, says watching weather events unfold has become entertainment, fueled by the constant availability of data on TV, apps and websites in a April 21 Sydney (Australia) Morning Herald story.

Stewart is an associate professor in the College of Education’s department of counseling and human development services.
