New technology can be the academic bridge to improving health education, and as a result, improve overall patient care, said Kendall Ho, a practicing emergency medicine specialist, associate professor and founding director of the eHealth Strategy Office in the University of British Columbia’s department of emergency medicine.
Ho was the keynote speaker before some 200 participants at the third annual conference of the University of Georgia’s Institute for Evidence-Based Health Professions Education on March 30 at the Georgia Hotel and Conference Center.
Video of his lecture titled, “Leveraging eHealth in Education and Practice: Opportunities, Challenges, and Lessons Learned (so far),” can be seen on the UGA You Tube Channel.
