Russell R. Pate, a nationally recognized expert and scholar on physical activity, who spoke about obesity prevention in youth in the Ramsey Lecture Series on March 28 at the University of Georgia Hotel and Conference Center.
Pate, a professor of exercise science at the University of South Carolina, is an internationally recognized exercise physiologist with interests in the health implications of physical activity and physical fitness in children. His lecture titled, “Policies for Promotion of Physical Activity and Obesity Prevention in Youth,” can now be seen on the UGA COE You Tube Channel.
