Little named Walton County Schools’ Teacher of the Year
Wendy Little (BSEd ’92, MEd ’97), a fifth-grade math and science teacher at Youth Elementary School, has been named 2011 Teacher of the Year for Walton County Public Schools.
Little has taught at Youth Elementary for three years but has been teaching for more than 17 years overall, serving at several Walton schools—some that she attended as a child, reported a story in the November 20 Walton Tribune.
Little, who resides in Monroe, began teaching in Loganville and taught at Monroe Primary before coming to Youth.
She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in early childhood education from UGA.
