Several College of Education  faculty members and their work are featured in the Fall 2011 issue of UGA Research Magazine.
– Kinesiology researcher Bryan McCullick is featured in a story titled, “A heavy burden: Georgia’s obesity epidemic.” Page 13.
– Distinguished Research Professor of language and literacy education Peter Smagorinsky writes that schools that want to attract and keep top teachers must support creativity and stop reducing teachers to mere functionaries in “Viewpoint.” Page 32.
– A new book titled, Teaching for the Students: Habits of Heart, Mind, and Practice in the Engaged Classroom, written by Bob Fecho, professor in language and literacy education, is featured in the Media Shelf. Page 10.
