Hamrick honored by Augusta State University Alumni Association

Hamrick, who received three degrees from UGA, retired in 2010 after serving ASU for 34 years.

Kathy Hamrick (BSEd ’69, MEd ’74, EdD ’76) , former special coordinator for master planning and professor of mathematics at Augusta State University, was honored by the university’s Alumni Association with the Town and Gown Award at its Annual Meeting and Awards Celebration on Feb. 18 at Saint Paul’s Church, according to a university news release.

Hamrick received all three of her degrees in mathematics education at UGA.

Hamrick retired in 2010 after serving the university forĀ more thanĀ 34 years. She coordinated the design and oversaw the construction projects of both Allgood and University halls. She also coordinated the funding, design, and construction of two ASU privatized projects, University Village and the Jaguar Student Activities Center.
