Cress co-authors article on 20-year case study of successful aging

A 20-year case study involving a former University of Georgia dean emeritus shows the importance of motivation for behavioral change in diet and exercise for successful aging, reports an article co-authored by Elaine Cress, professor emeritus of kinesiology and director of UGA’s Aging and Physical Performance Laboratory,  Richard D. Lewis a professor foods and nutrition in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences, and William Flatt, Dean Emeritus and  D.W. Brooks Distinguished Professor of the College of Agriculture.

The article titled, “‘Better n’ Ever’ Changes with Age: A 20-year case study of successful aging,” was published in the March/April 2011 issue of the peer-reviewed, refereed American College of Sports Medicine’s  Health and Fitness Journal.
