     4.1  Rod Custer, present JITE Editor, recognized Scott
          Johnson as outgoing editor of the JITE.  Also 
          recognized Jeffrey Flescher, Steven Petrina, and Rey 
          Matinez for service as outgoing members of the 
          Editorial Committee.  Other members of the Board also 
          recognized.
     
     4.2  Ken Gray, Associate JITE Editor, presented recognition
          of outstanding manuscripts.  Recipients were Jerry Moss 
          and Qetler Jensrud for the outstanding research 
          manuscript, Karen Zuga for outstanding conceptual 
          manuscript, and Sarah Duncan for outstanding 
          dissertation-based manuscript.
     
     4.3  Ervin Dennis, editor of the ITE Directory, recognized
          representatives of the Goodheart-Wilcox Company for 
          their contributions and support for the ITE Directory. 
          Present were George Fisher, Walter Brown, John 
          Flannigan, and Todd Jeffers.  Ervin also made some 
          comments as outgoing editor of the Directory after 25 
          years of service in that capacity.  Dr. Thomas Bell was 
          introduced as the new Editor of the Directory.
     
     4.4  Sam Stern presented the NAITTE/G. Harold Silvius
          Foundation "Outstanding Young Industrial Teacher 
          Educator" award to George E. Rogers.
     
     4.5  Sam Stern presented Outstanding Service Awards to
          outgoing Officers.  These including Jim Gregson, 
          outgoing VP, Nevin Frantz, outgoing treasurer, Scott 
          Johnson, outgoing JITE editor, and the NAITTE 
          Distinguished Service Award to Ervin A. Dennis and B. 
          LaVada Dennis for their work on the ITE Directory.
     
5.0  NAITTE Business Meeting called to order . . . . . . . . . . .Sam Stern
     
     
     5.1  Roger Hill presented the minutes of the October
          telemeeting with a motion that they be accepted. 
          Second by Greg Petty and motion passed.
     
     5.2  Nevin Frantz presented the Treasurer's and Auditor's
          reports and made a motion that the financial statement 
          be approved.  Jim Gregson seconded and the motion 
          passed.
     
     5.3  Sam Stern outlined his goals for the organization.
          These included planned efforts to become more inclusive 
          and to provide opportunities for satellite meetings at 
          other conferences.
     
     5.4  Scott Johnson conducted the installation of officers
          for the 1996-97 term.
     
     5.5  Final remarks were presented by Sam Stern and the
          meeting was adjourned at 8:45.
