Admission to the Bachelor's Program

Admission Deadlines: For Summer and Fall Semester admission, application should be turned in by the third Friday in January. For Spring admission, application should be turned in by the third Friday in September.

Notification of Admission will be two weeks after approval of application. A letter will be sent from the Department of Science Education with information regarding your admission status and advisor.

Application for Admission to the Department of Science Education for Bachelor's Degree Program

You must apply to both UGA and the Science Education Department for admission. If you are currently a UGA student, then only admission to the department is necessary. This is not the same as admission to the certification Block program. See suggested timeline for details.
