Mathematics EducationBachelor of Science in EducationThe Bachelor of Science in Education program is designed to prepare candidates for grade 7-12 secondary mathematics teaching. The professional education courses include three general courses in educational psychology, introduction to education, and the nature of exceptional children. The mathematics education sequence over a period of four semesters includes courses and practica for mathematics curricula, mathematics instruction, student teaching, and a post-student teaching seminar. The student should consult each semester with their Mathematics Education faculty advisor to construct and carry forward a program of study. |
