Academic Programs - Mathematics Education
Georgia’s Athens and Griffin campuses. At the Athens campus, we offer degrees leading to initial certification for those wishing to teach secondary school mathematics in grades 6-12 (BSEd, MAT), advanced degrees for experienced teachers (MEd, EdS), and research degrees (MA, PhD). In addition, we offer non-degree options for secondary mathematics certification and a graduate certificate in mathematics education for doctoral students in mathematics.
At the Griffin campus we offer MEd and EdS degrees for experienced K-8 teachers and the K-5 mathematics endorsement for experienced elementary school teachers. Please visit (link) for more information.
