Reading Clinic
The Reading Clinic
The University of Georgia Reading Clinic is one of the oldest continuously run reading clinics in the United States. Founded by Dr. Ira E. Aaron, it has offered services to the people of Georgia since 1956.
Currently, students and faculty in the clinic serve first grade children through high school adolescents. Our clients may need intensive tutoring or just a little additional help with reading. We focus on word recognition skills (including decoding using phonics), word meanings (through vocabulary development), reading fluency, and comprehension.
You can download the Brochure below for more information on the Reading Clinic and the services we provide.
