Rebecca Callahan Department of Language and Literacy Education |
Previously an AERA/IES post-doctoral fellow in the Population Research
Center at the University of Texas at Austin, Rebecca Callahan joins
the TESOL- Teaching Additional Languages Program. Her research interests include the
socialization and education of immigrant linguistic minority students at
the high school level and during the transition to young adulthood, the
role of language in the academic and social processes of immigrant youth,
language policy in education, and language assessment.
