ESOL Endorsement

This program provides "add-on" certification to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) grades P-12 in Georgia public schools. The endorsement program is only valid for educators who have or will hold a teaching credential in another subject area (e.g., elementary education, mathematics, Spanish), a speech and language pathology professional certificate, or school counseling credential. The program consists of three courses offered at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Please note: ESOL endorsement courses are in high demand and may fill quickly. When applying, remember that registration for summer and fall semester courses begins approximately April 1 and registration for spring semester courses begins approximately October 15. Courses are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
