This program is designed for applicants seeking advanced scholarly preparation in English Education. Emphasizing research, the program is intended for those who plan to pursue doctoral study beyond the master's degree. The degree does not provide initial certification. Applicants interested in teaching in Georgia public schools should consider the M.Ed. Plus Certification or the M.Ed. Plus Certification-Alternative Route degrees.
