Teaching of Additional Languages

Minor in TESOL: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

This minor field of study is designed for students seeking theoretical background and professional training in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). Graduates of the program with a Georgia state teacher certification will earn a TESOL endorsement and preparation to teach English in Georgia public schools. Other graduates will be prepared to teach in settings such as community and college programs for adults, and in English language programs abroad.
