Application Procedures

Please read the following information carefully and follow instructions.

Applications for our program are made to the Graduate School.

Please visit the (http://www.gradsch.uga.edu/) for application forms and important information. From that site, you may print and mail the application, apply online using a credit card, or ask the Graduate School to mail you an application.

Send to the Graduate School

  • application and fee
  • 2 official copies of transcripts from all of degrees conferred institutions
  • official scores from GRE or MAT

You will need to indicate a "major code" on your application. The major code for the master's degree in TESOL is 3907.

Send to the Graduate Secretary in the Department of Language Education

  • at least 3 letters of recommendation
  • statement of purpose (background and reasons for pursuing graduate study)
  • resume/vita
