Foreign Language Education Program:

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

The program is designed for students who are either completing their undergraduate degrees or have earned undergraduate degrees and seek initial state certification to teach a foreign language in Georgia P-12 public schools. The program consists of two groups of courses:

  1. Group I courses that fulfill requirements for initial T-4 teacher certification and which must be taken during the first year.
  2. Group II courses that fulfill requirements for the master's degree and T-5 certification, and which must be taken during the second year.

All students seeking certification are required to take the following:
