World Language Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) in World Language Education with K12 teacher certification

- Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T) in World Language Education and K12 teacher certification

NEED TESOL OR WORLD LANGUAGE ASSISTANCE?
Graduate students in the TESOL & World Language Education Program are fluent in a variety of world languages and are emerging experts in the teaching and learning of second or additional languages including English to non-native speakers. Many of our students are available to work with members of the greater Athens community on any number of projects related to world languages including translation, tutoring, conversational practice, business assistance and other endeavors.

This program offers a B.S.Ed. at the undergraduate level and M.A.T. at the graduate level. The B.S.Ed. program prepares students to teach modern and classical languages such as Spanish, French, German, and Latin in pre-school through 12th grade. Students earn T-4 (initial) certification to teach in Georgia public schools. The M.A.T. is designed for students who have earned undergraduate degrees and seek initial state certification to teach a foreign language in Georgia P-12 public schools.
