Specialist Program - Ed.S.
This program is designed for the student who has earned a master’s degree in Early Childhood, Middle School, Elementary Education, Reading Education, Instructional Technology, or a related field. Students will take 10 courses (30 semester hours) beyond the master’s degree. The student will complete an applied project as one of those courses. The student will develop a professional portfolio throughout the course of study and present it at the end of the program in lieu of a traditional comprehensive exam. Students may include some courses for endorsements (ESOL, Reading, etc.) as part of the program of study.
