M.Ed. Application Procedure:

Please read the following information carefully and follow instructions.
Applications for our program are made to the Graduate School.
Please visit the University of Georgia Graduate School website for application forms and important information. From that site, you may print and mail the application, apply online using a credit card, or ask the Graduate School to mail you an application. You may apply online from http://www.uga.edu/gradschool/admissions/request.html.
To Apply to the MED in TESOL and World Languages Program:
- Apply/submit application fee via GraduateAdmissions,www.grad.uga.edu/gradschool and click on ”Apply Online!” (The degree code for the MED is 855)
- As you apply online via Graduate Admissions, you will be asked for 3 email addresses for Recommenders (i.e., letters of recommendation). Admissions will contact recommenders to submit letters of recommendation online which will be downloaded for your application file.
- Please submit a 1-2 page Statement of Purpose/resume via email attachment to Ms. Becky Hendren, bhendren@uga.edu describing your background and your reasons for wanting to pursue a MED in TESOL.
- Submit 2 official transcripts of each degree conferred (include English translation) to Graduate Admissions. If you attended UGA we will already have access to transcript). Submit official GRE or MAT test scores; (international students) TOEFL/IELTS test scores
