Qualitative Research

A Brief History of Qualitative Research at the University of Georgia

To better serve the university community, the program joined the Department of Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy in 2005. We are currently at work on a doctoral degree in qualitative research, on a postdoctoral certificate program for faculty members at other institutions, and on distance education offerings. We also intend to develop more outreach efforts and resources such as the annual Qualitative Interest Group (QUIG) conference sponsored by the university since 1988.
