- Make application for admission to the Graduate School on forms secured from the Graduate Admissions Office

- Have official copies of transcripts sent to the Graduate Admissions Office.

- Forward acceptable entrance scores on the Aptitude Test of Graduate Records Examinations (GRE) or the Miller Analogies Test to the Graduate Admissions Office.

- Plan a tentative program of study after being assigned an advisor.

- File an approved program of study no later than upon the completion of 5 or 6 courses. This is also the formal application for admission to candidacy. To be eligible for graduation, a student must maintain a 3.0 (B) average on all graduate courses taken, and on all courses on the program of study.

- Obtain approval of transfer credits if they are to be included in the program of study, have the courses approved (See Approval of Transfer Credit Forms). All requests for transfer credit with an accompanying official transcript must be in the Graduate School office at least 30 days prior to the time the student plans to graduate. No grade below B may be transferred.

- Plan and secure preliminary approval of a proposed applied project.

- Secure approval of the completed EADU 7650 Applied project from Advisor. The date for the approval of the completed EADU 7650 Applied Project is the same as that required for the approval of a thesis (see Graduate Bulletin for thesis date).

- Consult Advisor concerning Final Oral and/or Written Examinations which are required to be eligible for graduation. The final exam must be administered by a committee of no less than 3 faculty members. The results of this exam must be reported to the Graduate School by the Advisor.

- Check with the Graduate School Office concerning all incidental prerequisites to graduation.

- Complete course work and other requirements advised by the Advisor. Changes in a program of study must be approved by the major professor, Graduate Coordinator, and the Dean of the Graduate School. Change in Program forms may be obtained from the Graduate Studies Office.
