Educational Administration and Policy
Graduate Handbook
Graduate studies can be a daunting task unless the student prepares by being aware of information. Here are a few quick cues to help you acclimate to graduate studies in the Program in Educational Administration and Policy.
E-mail: Students are reminded to check frequently their UGA e-mail account. The UGA email address is the one used communicate with students about such items as graduation confirmation, tuition payment, etc. There is a feature in which your UGA e-mails can be forwarded automatically to other e-mail accounts.
Listserv: The program area and departmental listservs serve as the official vehicle for announcements. These listservs are for broadcast only and an additional source of information regarding important announcements and deadlines.
Student Information Sheet: Included in the program area was a request to complete a Student Information Sheet. Please ensure that this form has been completed and returned to Degree Program Specialist, Mrs. Laura Patrick at lpatrick@uga.edu The Student Information Sheet can be found at http://www.coe.uga.edu/leap/adminpolicy/forms_4_students.html

OASIS: Consult OASIS for the latest listing of courses available.
Practicum: EDAP 7801-7803: Students should consult the requirements for enrolling in the Practicum.
Students are reminded that to enroll for EDAP 7801-7803, Permission of Department (POD) must be granted. Consult with your assigned advisor for POD.
Transfer of Credit: No course credit will be transferred or substituted for the L5 requirements in the Program in Educational Administration and Policy.
Certification: The University of Georgia does not certify a student. The PSC is the certifying agency for the state of Georgia. At the completion of the program of study and successfully passing the PRAXIS II, paperwork for applying for certification can be obtained from
