Educational Administration and Policy

The Educational Administration and Policy Program Area offers programs of study that respond to the changing context of educational leadership preparation, school reform, and education policy making. We offer the coursework for L5 certification, the M.Ed., the Ed.S., and the Ph.D.

Our programs lead to initial and advanced certification for school leadership positions, including building level positions such as assistant principal and principal, and central office positions such as superintendent. The Ph.D. focuses on preparing researchers, policy analysts, and executive school leaders.

The Program in Educational Administration and Policy resides in the Department of Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy.
