Program in Educational Administration and Policy Scholarships and Awards

Ray E. Bruce Academic Support Fund

The purpose of the Ray E. Bruce Academic Support Fund is to provide scholarship support of at least $500 each year for two or more students enrolled in graduate degree in the Program of Educational Administration and Policy. Primary consideration will be given to students who are exploring some aspect of instructional supervision.  The recipients are to be chosen by a faculty committee named by the Program Coordinator. Applicants need to send in a letter including name, dissertation topic, and professional career goals.   

Carroll Wade McGuffey Scholarship

The purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to be awarded to a doctoral student(s) in educational administration and policy, whose studies include research into the impact of the school's environment on teacher behavior, pupil behavior and/or pupil learning. Interested applicants need to send in a letter including name, dissertation topic, and professional career goals.

David J. Mullen Scholarship

The family, friends, and students of Dr. David J. Mullen, Sr, established this scholarship fund. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship assistance to a doctoral candidate preparing for a public school position in the Program of Educational Administration and Policy. This $1,000 scholarship is non-renewable and is to be awarded during the year of writing the doctoral dissertation. Interested applicants need to send in a letter including name, dissertation topic, and professional career goals.
