Wraga commentary in Education Week

The final version of the common-core standards for math and English/language arts, released in June by the Council of Chief State School Officers and the National Governors Association, contain two educational blind spots that, if ignored, can undermine not only the quality of public education, but also the strength of our democracy, writes William G. Wraga, a professor in the department of lifelong education, administration, and policy in the August 20 issue of Education Week.
