Introduction:

The purpose of developing this guide is to provide you with information about the Republic of Kenya as deduced from students' previous experiences and from other sources including individual Kenyans, newspapers, and the Embassy of Kenya in Washington D.C. The guide serves as an informal guide for those wishing to travel to Kenya for purposes of conducting research studies or visiting educational institutions for a short time period. This guide contains tips and suggestions for making your experience in Kenya enjoyable, meaningful, and productive. The guide, by no means, should be considered definitive, because, changes occur in the host country, Kenya, as with any other nation. Furthermore, the ideas expressed here do not necessarily represent legal documentation from program coordinators or the University of Georgia concerning the Kenya Study Abroad Program. So one should regard it as suggestions to make your experiences wonderful.
