Instructions for Non-UGA Students Applying to UGA Summer Study Abroad Programs
- Download and fill out a UGA application for admission (applications can be downloaded from http://www.admissions.uga.edu/printapp.html) or request an Admissions packet from Program Director.
- Write on the top of the application "Kenya Study Abroad Program".
- On the application, check summer transient. Please note that the current UGA application for admission states that a student may not choose summer transient status for the May term. However, for study abroad, students can use this status and should follow the instructions on the application for summer transient applicants. Summer transient students will need to turn in a letter of good standing.
- Mail application, letter of good standing or transcript and application fee by April 1 to your program director. Late applications for study abroad program applicants may be accepted.
- Students who are not Georgia residents and do not attend a University System of Georgia institution must pay a $125 out-of-state fee in addition to UGA in-state tuition. This amount will be paid with tuition directly to the UGA Bursar's Office after course registration.
