Graduate Degree Programs

If you are completing or have an undergraduate degree and seek specialized, advanced training in exercise science, physical education or sport studies, consider applying to one of our graduate programs. If you are interested in a professional career in adult fitness and cardiac rehabilitation (clinical exercise physiology), athletic training, or sport conditioning/coaching, consider one of our non-thesis M.S. programs under the Exercise Science major. If you are interested in teaching and/or research in biomechanics, exercise physiology, exercise psychology, or measurement, consider applying to one of our M.S. research-oriented programs under the Exercise Science major. If you are interested in higher-level certification as physical education teacher or in a career in physical education teaching and research in higher education, consider applying to a master’s or doctoral program specialization in physical education pedagogy or motor behavior under the Physical Education and Sport Studies major. Or, if you desire advanced education leading to a career in business or higher education related to sport, apply to the master’s degree specialization in sport management, or to the master’s or doctoral specialization in sport management/studies under the Physical Education and Sport Studies Major.
