The 2012 Global Educational Forum on Culture, Research and Teaching created by Kinesiology professor Rose Chepyator-Thomson will be on April 5 in the Tate Student Center, Grand Hall A, B and C. 
Dr. Bryan McCullick’s research on after-school physical education as a means of combating obesity and improving academic achievement is featured in the fall issue of the UGAResearch magazine.. 
A study by Dr. Michael Schmidt, assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology, has found that aist circumference, not BMI, is best predictor of future cardiovascular risk in children.
