A number of graduate assistantships are available through the University of Georgia Athletic Association to work with UGA athletic teams or with Athens Orthopedic Clinic to gain clinical experience as a physician extender. The graduate assistantship position carries a stipend and full tuition waiver. The student must be admitted to the graduate school, and be a Georgia Athletic Trainer license at the start of the assistantship in August.

Application deadline for graduate assistantships is November 16. Finalist for the graduate assistantship position will be expected to visit UGA for an interview with clinical and academic faculty.
