Technology Integration

Why do it?

Effective technology integration uses the appropriate technology and curriculum to create an instructional opportunity that is authentic, relevant, current, interesting, and memorable.  This effective use can range from a box of 64 crayons to interactive videoconferencing with astronauts.  The point is to use the appropriate technology to support the information presented and the learning style of the student.

The Teacher’s Corner has been developed to provide information about technology integration, information literacy, and resources that are available through the Internet.  The information provided is focused on creating opportunities where students have the technology, information, and academic skills to be effective producers, communicators, problem solvers, and contributing, global citizens
