A PROGRAM FOR EMERGING SCHOLARS IN ADULT EDUCATION
FROM SOUTHERN AFRICA, LATIN AMERICA, AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

We appreciate your interest in the Houle Scholars Program (HSP). On April 1, 2002 the final group of Houle Scholars was selected, consequently HSP is no longer accepting applications. If you would like information about the program that is not included on this website, please contact us at hsp@uga.edu.

The Cyril O. Houle Scholars in Adult and Continuing Education Program is intended to fund research, writing, and/or demonstration activities for emerging scholars in adult education. Nine award recipients (2 from southern Africa, 2 from Latin America, and 5 from the U.S.) are selected each year.  The fifth group will be selected in 2001. This program is funded by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation in honor of Cyril O. Houle, and administered by the Department of Adult Education at the University of Georgia.
