Charles Connor is responsible for oversight of the Office of Communications and Publications; maintaining the COE Speakers Bureau service, producing the monthly College News Briefs; developing Program Focus Papers; and managing the online Community Connections directory of educational projects sponsored by the College of Education across Georgia and around the world. He provides oversight and assists in designing and developing College publications, including the national award winning College magazine Education, the UGA College of Education Online News electronic newpaper, and other print and electronic publications. Charles is Director of the Harriette Austin Writing Program, which includes the annual Harriette Austin Writers Conference, now in its tenth highly successful year, and the Elements of Fiction internet based creative writing workshops.
