Class Registration

  1. First, you must be admitted to the UGA Graduate School as an Educational Psychology Non-Degree (ND) student.

    The Graduate School deadlines can be found at the following site:

  2. Get POD to register for the class:

    Once the on-line application is submitted and app fees are paid, forward the following student info to Dr. Hines, mhines@uga.edu to reserve a seat in the class:
    • Full Name (First, Middle, Last)
    • Current role (e.g., teacher, full-time grad student, etc.)
    • Birth Month/Day
    • E-mail address;
    • UGA Home Dept/Degree (e.g. Ed Psych/Non-degree or MathEd/MEd);
    • Phone Number (Daytime);
    • Complete Address;
    • School, town, and county where you teach (if applicable);
    • Grade level/Subject(s);
    • Years of experience in education/in gifted education;
    • Gifted Education Courses completed and institution: (e.g., EPSY 7110 UGA, EPSY 7060 UGA, etc. );
    • Gifted Education Courses desired: (e.g., EPSY 7110, EPSY 7250, etc);
    • Reason for taking the course (e.g., electives, gifted certification, etc.);
    • Experience with distance education;
      Note: EPSY 7110 is the pre-req for the other courses. You cannot take 7250, 7060, or 7230 without taking 7110 first, or taking 7110 simultaneously with another course.

  3. Get a UGA student account:

    In order to register for classes after being accepted as a student, you will need a UGA MyID account (free). This account takes 24 hours to process and can be requested at the following address:
    https://myid.uga.edu/

  4. Register for your class(es).
    1. View the tutorial regarding the on-line registration instructions at:
      http://www.reg.uga.edu/otutorial.nsf
    2. Download tn3270 software from EITS to access online registration (OASIS):
      http://www.uga.edu/oasis/
    3. Follow instructions for connection to OASIS registration.
    4. Review the frequently asked questions related to Registration at the following address
