COE Expected Behavior and Concerns
The University of Georgia has a number of policies describing expected behavior and procedures for addressing concerns. All faculty, staff, and students should read these policies and work together to create a climate of respect and dignity for all. When concerns arise direct them as follows:
Suspected violations of the UGA Non Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy should be reported to the Equal Opportunity Office (706-542-7912).
Suspected research misconduct (see policy on Responsible Conduct in Research and Scholarship) should be reported to the Institutional Integrity Officer in Sponsored Programs (706-583-0443 or reginas@uga.edu)
The University of Georgia has a Dispute Resolution Policy, Grievance and Disciplinary Review Policy and a Workplace Violence Policy. For questions about disputes and grievances or to access a grievance coordinator contact the Office of Legal Affairs at 706-542-0006.
Claims of unfair treatment not covered by the policies above or violations of departmental or college procedures should be addressed to the individual’s immediate supervisor or to the Associate Dean for Faculty, Staff & Finance.
