The nomination and selection process for the University-wide awards listed below varies. Please review the following links carefully for detailed information related to eligibility, application process, and submission requirements. You will notice that some of the awards are handled directly by offices outside the College of Education. Others are processed through the Associate Dean for Research’s Office for the Dean of the College of Education.
UGA Recognition (Teaching/Research/Service)
Nominations that must be submitted to the College of Education Office of the Associate Dean for Research should be submitted as a PDF file electronically via email attachment to gmason@uga.edu or PDF file on CD sent through campus mail to the Associate Dean for Research Office, c/o Faculty Awards Committee Secretary, Gabrielle Mason, G10 Aderhold Hall. Do not submit hard copies of nomination packages.
Important: In all cases related to dossiers that must pass through the COE Faculty Senate Awards Committee: the Awards Committee will not accept late or incomplete dossiers. It is the responsibility of the nominator to ensure the dossier is complete and submitted by the College of Education’s deadline.
Please use the protocol listed below to name these nomination files. For example, the nomination for John Smith for the Distinguished Research Professor Award would be named as “Smith_John_DRP.” Please label all separate attachments clearly.
