All newly hired employees are required to complete the follow:
- UGA Orientation/Onboarding System
- Hiring Department Checklist
- University of Georgia Ethics Policy Training & NDAH Policy Review
Exit procedures for faculty and staff at retirement, separation or resignation:
Faculty procedures – A copy of the Faculty Who Are Leaving the University of Georgia form and the termination personnel should be submitted to Christy Glazer, cglazer@uga.edu.
Faculty and Staff must complete the Separation Notice. The original should be given or mailed to the employee (even retire/rehires) and a copy should be submitted to Faculty Services. Faculty Services will send a copy to UGA Human Resources. The Exit Checklist should be completed by faculty and staff to make sure all exit processes are satisfied.

Transfer Procedures
Regular, partial year, and temporary faculty and staff transferred or reassigned from one UGA department to another UGA department should complete the Faculty and Staff Transfer Checklist with their employer.
