  • We accepted the changes to the Proposed COE Bylaws based on faculty feedback at the October 24 Listening and Acting Meeting
  • We passed a resolution asking the Board of Regents to reverse the ban on undocumented students at UGA
  • We heard some good budget news and about how the COE is handling changes in health coverage from Dean Horne
  • We continued our work on the major issues faculty raised in this year’s work groups: Promotion & Tenure Committee revisions; compensation of program coordinators; work with doctoral students including advising during the summer, recognition in the “50-50” research/instruction formula, and ethics of work with grad students; Visionary School-based Educator Programs; and budgeted time for service
  • COE Resultion re ban on undocumented students
