Committees - Standing Committees
Description
The Academic Appeals Committee is a Standing Committee of the Faculty Senate. The Committee hears and acts upon appeals cases involving graduate and undergraduate student courses and programs that cannot be resolved at the Department level. See the Faculty Senate Bylaws for a complete description.
Composition
5 faculty members from different Departments, 3 elected by College faculty and 2 appointed by the Director of Student Services from Departments that have teacher certification programs or undergraduate majors. Department Heads may not serve on this Committee.
