Description
The Awards Committee is a Special Committee of the Faculty Senate. It selects nominees and/or recipients for awards in teaching, research, and service that are sponsored by the College and the University of Georgia. See the Faculty Senate Bylaws for a complete description.
Composition
9 members, one from each Department, appointed by the Dean in consultation with the Faculty Senate President from a slate of candidates presented by the Faculty Senate. Previous award recipients are expected to serve on this Committee.

Staggered 2-year term.
