July 19, 2013: Southeast Moodle Mini Moot Learning Management System for K-12

Description:  This one-day interactive conference is designed to enhance participants’ understanding of Moodle, a free Learning Management System, and how school systems can use it for blended and online learning of Common Core standards, organizing a 1:1 initiative, flipping a classroom, and more. Administrators, curriculum directors, technology coordinators, and teachers will want to attend this conference to learn practical, personal perspectives on how to initiate, implement and maintain Moodle for a variety of purposes and audiences, large and small. Session topics will include: introduction to Moodle; installing, updating, and backing up; site, category, and course organization; K-12 innovative uses; professional development; and more. Participants will engage with speakers to discuss practical considerations of implementing a Learning Management System.
